External & Upstream Vocabularies
The extensions don't invent terms in isolation — they anchor to a layered stack of foundational, community, and sectoral vocabularies. This page lists the vocabularies referenced across the project; open any one to see exactly which OpenEPCIS terms map to it and how.

The peer triumvirate the extensions build on: GS1 first, then the EU SEMICeu Core Vocabularies, then schema.org as a universal-web fallback.
GS1 Web Vocabulary
Imported foundation — supply-chain identifiers (GTIN, GLN) and most product attributes.
https://ref.gs1.org/voc/EU SEMICeu Core Vocabularies
EU public-sector canonical vocabularies — conformity, legal entities, addresses, identifier schemes (CCCEV, CPOV, Core Location, ADMS).
http://data.europa.eu/m8g/Schema.org
Universal web fallback — ratings, observations and generic metadata.
https://schema.org/Layer 2 — Community DPP profiles
Upstream Digital Product Passport profiles our terms anchor to via graded SKOS mappings.
UN Transparency Protocol (UNTP)
UN/CEFACT product-transparency protocol — DPP-specific conformity and traceability detail.
https://vocabulary.uncefact.org/untp/DPP Keystone
Peer DPP profile (v2) — iron & steel, EPD, textile and construction terms.
https://dpp-keystone.org/spec/v2/terms#CIRPASS-2 pilot programme
EU DPP pilot — requirements feeding CEN/CENELEC JTC 24. The EUDPP Core Ontology (v2.0.5) is mirrored as the browsable upstream module extensions/upstream/cirpass2-eudpp.
https://w3id.org/eudpp#Sectoral (Layer 1 peer)
Domain-specific upstream vocabularies mirrored as cross-sector peers.
Conformance bridges
Mapping / conformance targets rather than property-by-property term sources — described here for traceability.
CEN/CENELEC JTC 24
EN 18216–18223 (+ prEN 18239/18246) — harmonised DPP standards; clause-by-clause conformance mapping.
BatteryPass Consortium (SAMM)
BatteryPass Consortium SAMM aspect models (v1.2.0; Performance 1.2.1) — the semantic battery DPP data model our terms align to.
urn:samm:io.BatteryPassGEFEG BatteryPass-Ready
GEFEG BatteryPass-Ready v1.3 longlist-only attributes (DPP-information group + lossless-carrier keys) — the few attributes with no SAMM equivalent. GEFEG is the Battery Pass Consortium's publication and validation channel; the full model is the Consortium SAMM vocabulary.

European Commission guidance 'Digital Batteries Passport — data points by category' (v1.0, July 2026, Ares(2026)7579758) — the official 71-data-point list with per-category applicability as of February 2027 (OpenEPCIS-hosted RDF reference; the Commission publishes no IRIs).
